RRR (Telugu Movie) –Comments

  1. This film is an awesome production, that could hold the audience -jaw dropped and eyebrows fixed up for its entire length. RRR means – Raktham,Ranam, Rowdram – I’m told.
  2. Entire Trichy city is sold out and held captive in about 7 theatres. Luckily, one showed up in Telugu, for people like us.
  3. For the Tamil audience who have had the taste of Shankar’s movies, this is the next step. Director Rajamouli. is the next trend of Vishwaroopa Chitra. A magician, who could check the pulse of the audience, by putting his fingers straight into the hearts, (For those who should know – ‘Rajamouli means’ a ‘Kings Crown’)
  4. Ram Charan’s exploit as a Special Police Officer to the level of taking charge of all the ammunitions is a smart fiction cooked up. The man is fit as a road rumble to handle tons. So is Jr. NTR.
  5. Exceptional fitness is maintained and displayed by both of them. I was watching with folded hands mauling my biceps now and then, in dismay.
  6. I went in as Jr. NTR’s fan and came out intact as one. The script should have given a length of dialogue for him to deliver. Jr.NTR is one of the best actors to convey through dialogues and eye expressions that the industry has.
  7. Both the youngsters dance like electrified shooting stars. The white women give themselves to it and dance like the daffodils in a hurricane.
  8. Ajay Devgan has an interesting role as a revolutionist and he hit the bull’s eye. Shreya still looks worthy of a passionate kiss, till the kids cried for their mother in the killings. That shuts us up.
  9. Keeravani(Maragadhamani) the music director is the one who has lived the movie all through. Great orchestration. The emotions caused by the BGM and the songs were all for the grandeur with the ‘drums of destiny’ beating at low decibels and high voltage.
  10. The song Komuram Bheemudo takes the last drop of juice in the heart, tears the eyes, and clears the lungs preparing us to love our land and our people more than ever.
  11. Kids would enjoy watching the Tigers ‘stuff’. We did as well. Those who are looking for logic in a magic show should perhaps watch only the documentaries on Indian history. But beware, It may sound still worse and won’t be entertainment stuff. Independence cost us ‘our people’ then and ‘our soldiers’ now. ‘Freedom Fight’ is always as complex as the phrase itself.
  12. Alexander Campbell in 1852 said the phrase ‘Sun never sets in the British Empire’. The theory of Karma is indisputable and inviolable. Today we see that the UK is soon becoming an occupied nation and we also hear that they would be socially overpowered.
  13. Well, it now appears that the British Empire may not have a land of their own, for the sun to rise. We always said ‘Thanks’ to the British for whatever they had given and it’s fair to expect nothing more from them except a word ‘Sorry’ as Mr.Sashi Tharoor said. Will the crowned head of the Queen’s Empire bend?
  14. I recommend this for an Oscar. Either they give one or close the show.
  15. After almost 3 years I was in the theatre with my family to witness this spectacular film. A thousand rupees worth exhibit has been shown for Rs.150/-.

Don’t miss folks.
