Oh colourful moon, would you not climb down the sky,

There is no way up for me, no ladder to reach your height.

You aren’t near me and there is no love in my eyes,

No language of my own, no desire to breath for life,

No eyes for the wind to bring a message from your side,

If the blue is taken away, there is nothing in the sky.

If you stand far away, there is nobody in my life,

Yes, nobody in my life.

I plucked the stars for the flowers to crown your head,

You didn’t turn up to me and the flowers are drying dead,
