Interesting Personalities: Tarek Fatah
“I am an Indian born in Pakistan, a Punjabi born in Islam; Now an immigrant in Canada. One of Salman Rushdie’s many Midnight’s Children. We were snatched from the cradle of Great Indian civilization and made permanent refugees, sent in search of an oasis that turned out to be a mirage.”
“I write as a Muslim whose ancestors were Hindu. My religion, Islam, is rooted in Judaism, while my Punjabi culture is tied to that of the Sikhs. Yet I am told by Islamists that without shedding this multifaceted heritage, I cannot be considered a true Muslim.” – Tarek Fatah
Tarek Fatah can speak hours together against Pakistan and Islamists and glorify the heritage of Hindustan. A loud voice for the freedom of Baluchistan he has, he also has the dream of an inclusive Greater India and warns India of her hyper secularism. Not many Indians love this nation as much as he does. A true Indian with great respect to PM Mr.Modi. He fights for his objectives more vociferously and faster than cancer that chases him. I wish every Indian thinks like him.
