Dream Horse ( English Movie) –Comments

After watching a few movies with not much to say about, I happened to pick this fine film and sit for a couple of hours. Engrossed- Dreaming.
A bright daytime, outdoor movie, taking through the lush pasture of Wales from both on a horseback and through the drone cams, showing the meadows and the town in the Valley, the people in the community and what it means to breed and run a horse in the race. Winning the race is a victory beyond.
This spectacular movie is a feast for the eyes and the sound of the galloping horse’s hooves sets our hearts beat. I wish I had a horse and called him ‘Pace setter’.
The lady in a couple without children, rearing dogs and ducks plunge into this lively idea of bio-bringing an offspring of a mare and a retired racehorse. And then on, we all run with him.
‘Dream Alliance’ sounds so typically a race horse’s name and the horse chosen is a sharply build youngster whose strides are ‘Art strokes of God’.
Any horse, for that matter, is the only living being born to scale the land and they have come around the world more than twice. What a lovely beast!
We always identified a horse with the Mughals for they brought them success in their conquests. Here it is seen to be in the culture of the Welsh to have them emotionally attached as home-bred heroes to participate in races. The true owners perhaps.
As we are aware of the ‘Jallikattu’ ‘bull sentiments’ of our natives, it is easy to be imbued into the emotions of the people in the movie and become English for a couple of hours.
After Stephen Spielberg’s ‘War Horse’, this is another ‘feel good’ horse movie which proves that every open landscape belongs to them as much as our homes belong to our dogs.
Folks – Don’t miss this film.
____________
Grab a shot of vodka and squeeze a bit of lime,
Float an ice cube and hold it all the time
Don’t forget or miss out a sip now and then
Wipe your tears and congratulate yourself at the end.
Give your dog a chance to sit and watch with you
He would love you for a friend on the spot, it’s true.
