Ala Vakuntapuramulo – Movie (Telugu)- Comments
After Shankarabaranam in 1980, the direct release of Telugu movie in Trichy ( Center of Tamil Nadu) has taken place again with ‘Ala Vaikuntapuramlo’ and ‘Sarileru Neekevaru’. The diaspora of Telugu people is happy about this.
I Happened to see the movie ‘Ala Vaikuntapuramlo’ last night and felt so happy to see the theater full. A nice strong storyline treated so lightly with touches of humor and deep punch lines mixed well to engage people sensibly. The lovely movie kept the audience in place with rapt attention and awe for several reasons. Allu Arjun is a cool mix of Rajni, Jakie Chan, and Bhima of Mahabaratha. A blow is a bludgeon on the head or wherever he hits. The audience was all spellbound with fights being choreographed with a folk song in the BGM. A planned silence to hide the fact about the boys to the poor mother (Rohini) is a remarkable ending that took us home happy.
Songs and dances were shot beautifully and pepped up for the classes and the masses. Every artist had a performance quota and each one of them had done their roles neatly. Other than that, Tabu looks old, and Vampish, Pooja Hegde squeezes hearts for a hobby.
A fine entertaining movie altogether and a wonderful theatre experience after a long time.
I’m told that ‘Sarileru Neekevaru’ is also running full houses. All this alongside Rajni’s Darbar. Wow…Looking for more Telugu movies to come to Trichy in the future.
