Balagam – (Telugu Movie 2023 )– My Comments
Here is one movie of native Telangana flavor sweeping our hearts with hop and pop towards the cremation grounds and obsequies. An outstanding capture of reality in an immensely emotive art form can be classified as nothing less than ‘A Classic’.
Assuming a place on the jury, I have already picked this film for a National Award. Mark my words, folks.
I’m leaving the story part here but wish to mention that the content value is priceless. With the last song integrating the family, this film drama will be remembered for a long time. Very touching lyrics, drama, and throw of singing style. Amazing.
Venu Yeldandi has undoubtedly shot himself to stand tall as the top film director of the country with no parallels. This man is intense in his film exhibiting style and narration like we haven’t seen much in recent times. What madness is this? Love this guy.
Music director Bheems Ceciroleo pours life into the soul of the dead and the living throughout the movie. The lyrics of every song are an outcry of the soul of the soil.
Actor Priyadarshi and a gamut of artists are so real for their roles like the merger of the folklore into the morning mist upon the paddy fields.
Indian film Industry is backed by such beautiful talents that are promising for the future.
Kavya Kalyanaram comes with no big pomp and glory but could easily hijack hearts. A beautiful girl at home.
Those who do not understand or can’t follow the Telangana dialect of the Telugu language (especially the Telugu people of TN), please stay away. This film is not for you.
Those in Telangana sure would have enjoyed the movie as much as I did. A great movie.
